I wake up and look out the window or into the face of one of my crazy dogs and think how lucky I am to be alive in this place and at this time! The people visiting me this year just blow my mind…LK Ludwig, Sas Colby, Lynne Perrella, Juliana Coles, The Pods, Jesse Reno, Traci Bunkers, Dorit Elisha, Rice Freeman-Zachery! That I am working with Sonora Beam excites me daily. That I am surrounded by my beautiful friends and family, co-workers and co-creators…who could ask for anything more? I am blessed to breathe in and breathe out in this rarified air! Wonderful, just wonderful!

I wish, wish, wish I lived closer instead of the other side of the country. I would take each and every one of those classes.Sooooooooo jealous! Love ya Pam

Carol Parks: You are a gorgeous genius!!!
I am also “excited daily” by getting to work (and PLAY!) with you.

Life IS good, even when it doesn’t seem so. We just have to look and see what we want to create, rather than absorb the so-called “reality” of what is. That is true artistry, isn’t it?

p.s.The self-portrait photos you took are, well, gorgeous! Cool, yet HOT! You vixen!

    Carol,
Love your photographic self portrait! And your writing and especially the figure drawings! Your school sounds so magical. Wish I could be out there to experience the classes.
